Ask for the Information You Need in Plain Language
Describe the subject, columns, reporting period, filters, grouping, and sorting as you would explain them to a colleague. AI Analyst recognizes Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Receivables, Payables, and General Ledger and asks focused clarification questions when a request is unclear.
The same workspace supports typed requests and voice input in compatible browsers without requiring users to learn Report Designer, SQL, or BQL.
Review Before Anything Is Built
Before creating or changing a design, AI Analyst presents a plain-language proposal covering the title, data sources, columns, filters, grouping, sorting, import mapping, limitations, and relevant Heads up notes.
Users can request conversational refinements until the proposal is correct. Nothing is built or modified until the user approves it.
Create Reports Generic Inquiries and Import Scenarios
Create standard Acumatica reports for formal layouts and output, Generic Inquiries for on-screen analysis and Excel export, or Import Scenarios from attached Excel and CSV files.
For imports, AI Analyst selects the appropriate entry screen, maps spreadsheet columns, checks key and required fields, and creates the Data Provider and Import Scenario. The user’s team retains control of Prepare and Import.
Refine Existing Designs with Version and Undo Controls
Ask AI Analyst to add a column, change a filter, adjust sorting, revise a period, or update grouping in an existing report or Generic Inquiry, including designs created manually.
Generic Inquiry changes preserve the inquiry name, menu entry, access rights, and untouched elements. Report changes are saved as new versions, with options to restore an earlier version or safely undo an approved change.
Ground Every Design in Your Data Catalog and Knowledge Base
AI Analyst works from a catalog built from the customer’s own Acumatica environment, including reportable tables, fields, allowed values, relationships, and custom fields introduced through published customizations.
A built-in Acumatica knowledge base also answers practical questions about features, screens, statuses, and processes in clear business language.
Protect Business Data with Role Based Access
AI Analyst runs as the signed-in Acumatica user and follows that user’s existing roles. It builds only from accessible data and changes an existing design only when the user already has the required rights.
Conversations are private, credentials and license keys are encrypted, and requests, proposals, approvals, builds, changes, and undo actions are recorded for traceability. SaaS and on-premises Acumatica deployments are supported.
